This restaurant is a gem in Miami! Every part of dining in Salvatore is perfection! From the attentive, professional and kind staff, to the ambiance inside the restaurant, to the delicious food and drinks, this restaurant is a MUST fine dining experience in Miami. My fellow diners, let me be clear: this restaurant offered one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in recent memory. From the start, the service was not merely inattentive but borderline disrespectful. The waiter displayed a relentless insistence on upselling the wine, despite our clear lack of interest. Both he and the owner repeatedly asked if our final guest was arriving—at least half a dozen times—making us feel more like intruders than valued customers.

Then, there were the fees. We were charged an astounding $40 to cut a cake we had brought in ourselves. On top of that, they added a $4 sharing fee, a $12 supplemental fee, and various ambiguous taxes. When a business chooses to nickel-and-dime its guests like this, it reflects a lack of integrity and respect. It’s simply unacceptable.

As for the food itself, it was subpar at best—mediocre flavors, uninspired presentation, and certainly not worth the cost. To add insult to injury, the atmosphere was far from inviting. Situated next to a subway in a drab, nondescript shopping plaza, the setting did little to elevate our experience.

Despite all of this, we still left a 15% tip out of respect for the industry. But rather than showing gratitude, our waiter—Juan Carlo—confronted us, expressing dissatisfaction with our tip. It was the final note in a symphony of poor service and poor taste.

This is not a place I would recommend. And it is certainly not one I intend to revisit.

The food is decent, but overpriced! Good wine list. Not worth being treated poorly.

First answer last time! A small restaurant in an ugly plaza in Kendall charging prices of hi-end restaurants and hotels. $60 for Ossobucco plate? Are you kidding! I've been i the most expensive restaurants in Miami, and I am not cheap, but not an idiot either. Deserts $15 and up and appetizers ver small portions $20+!! This a simple ambiance italian restaurant very far from a high-end!

Absolutely amazing Italian food. The calamari were delicious. The Chicken Parm was so big that I shared it with my Hubby. My favorite was the angel hair pasta with their vodka sauce. ? Cannot wait to go back.

La comida es espectacular, de entrada burrata y pulpo, y todo el pan que quisimos. El vino estuvo riquísimo. Todos los platos fuertes llegaron a tiempo, y no hay palabras para describir que rico estuvo todo. Hasta mi hijo que nunca come nada comió pastas a la bolognesa. Nuestro mesero fue atento y paciente con nosotros. Lo único que no me gusto fue la actitud del dueño. No tiene tacto ni paciencia con los niños. Es eficiente pero cero atento con los niños. Mi recomendación es que vayan por una cena temprano a las 6 o 5. No está tan lleno a esa hora.

Food was good. Service was horrible. Waiter had an attitude, rude and tried to upsell us everytime. Even charged us $25 to cut a cake without letting us know. Very unfriendly. Service means more than the taste of food. Won't be coming back. That's for sure. Oh almost forgot, waiter tried to over charge me $100.
