Best carnitas in town!! Probably in the state. This place is definitely on my top list for Mexican food when I visit the Fresno area. The food all around was really really good, and service was fast. I enjoy how there’s chips and great salsa from the moment you sit down.

Although we live in Fresno, when we want to eat at Sal's, we drive to the Selma location because we think the food there is much better.

The food at Sal's is reasonably priced and delicious. My wife and I usually order the Chimichanga dinner with shredded beef. The meat is moist and flavorful. It is consistently delicious, and the portion size is good. We usually only eat half and bring the other half home to enjoy. Our daughter orders the carne asada which she loves. She is a picky eater, too. Service is welcoming and friendly. Always enjoy going there. They know what they are doing. There is a reason why they have been in business for over 80 years!

Visited for the first time, walking up to the establishment , we noticed a sign with the specials (menudo)?.
As soon as we entered we were greeted & shown to our table, no wait at all. Took a glance at the menu & placed our order. The food was served relatively fast & we went to work.
Very satisfied with the entire staff, great atmosphere & our menudo? was okay. Chips & Salsa was really good ?.
Can't wait to make another visit to try other items on the menu, maybe the Sal's Fancy Burrito .

Huge dishes, friendly casual mood. This is my first time trying chimichanga dish. Deep fried dish was so good. And I also like the chips and salsa!

I sat at the bar and had a delicious Fancy Burrito that I highly suggest. The waitresses were super friendly and right on top of anything I needed! I was so impressed with the hustle of the waitresses. They were running around as fast as they could to get everyone taken care of! As someone who has been in the industry...these ladies are TOP NOTCH!

Always loved the food here at this restaurant that is a foundation piece for the City of Selma. Their Salsa is the best!! And the chili verde fancy burrito is my go to. Whether you are a local, or someone passing through, you will love this restaurant.
