It has been several years since I last had Sal’s Pizza due to the fact that I moved away. After being away for 2 years, I came back to visit family for Christmas and it was decided we’d have pizza for dinner one night. Other restaurants were suggested but I asked if Sal’s was still open and luckily they were. The order was ready at the quoted time, the pizzas were cooked perfectly and the leftovers reheated just as I remembered. Colorado could use a pizza place like Sal’s.

We recently used Sal’s Pizza for our wedding late night snack. The food was phenomenal and people could not get enough of it!! Their pizza has always been a local favorite of ours and we couldn’t imagine not sharing it with our family and friends on our big day. They even delivered at close so we could serve it immediately when it was delivered. Whether it’s a family night dinner or an event, we highly recommend their pizza. We will be lifetime customers.

ABSOLUTELY MORTIFIED!!! We found pubes baked in two pizzas we ordered. I’ve ordered here countless times and this will be my last. We brought it back and received a refund. However, the treatment we received and the fact that the woman brushed it off like it wasn’t disgusting, was completely unacceptable. She was extremely rude and did not offer any other compensation for the fact that we were now sick to our stomachs and had no lunch.

Love the Sal's garden delight pizza. Made with olive oil instead of marinara. The only pizza I eat without needing to add something for taste.

This was my first time trying Sal’s pizza. I ordered a 14” stuffed pizza - half cheese half sausage and mushrooms. I had not eaten pizza in over a month (good pizza in over six months) and this really hit the spot!

The dough in the crust is crispy but soft, almost like a pretzel (just the texture not the flavor). There was just enough cheese and plenty of sauce on top. Kind of reminds me of a grandma style pizza (cooked in a pan, buttery crust, rectangle cut with the sauce on top and cheese underneath). I normally add oregano, finely chopped fresh garlic and a drizzle of olive oil to my pizza no matter where I get it from, but Sal’s is flavorful without it. Best pizza for miles and the Italians running it are nice.

We ordered the stuffed pizza and it was fabulous! You could taste the fresh ingredients and it had to weigh 5 lbs! Perfect mix of flavors. We will be getting pizza here again! The delivery guy was fast and the pizza was nice and hot…

After reading all the 5 star reviews on this restaurant, we thought we'd give it a try. The person taking my phone order was very nice, as was the cashier when I picked up our 14" cheese and sausage pizza with thin crust. The pizza smelled delicious in the car as I was driving home. I thought for sure I found a pizza that I was going to enjoy. I was, sadly, disappointed. I realize everybody's taste for pizza is different. I found it to have a rather bland taste. The sausage wasn't flavorful, like most Italian sausage usually is. The thin crust wasn't what I would consider thin, and although it wasn't a soggy crust, it was a very tough crust. Definitely not thin and crisp.
I just don't understand all of the rave reviews and, I will not return. So sorry Sal's, I really wanted to love it.
