Sal's is exceptional and I cannot recommend it enough. My family has been going to the original Provincetown location for over 45 years and we were so excited to learn they had a pop-up in Los Angeles. We were welcomed with above and beyond service and a sense of comfort. We had the meatballs as a starter and the clam pasta- both were absolutely incredible. This restaurant was ever better than I remembered. This was truly one of the best dining experiences that I have had in LA.

Absolutely adore this place. The staff is beyond friendly, kind, inviting, authentic and warm. Sam (our server) went above and beyond plus a dash of great humor! This place feels like a second home with such effortless elegance and charm.

Be sure to bring cash, as it is cash only!

Best Italian meal we had while out in LA. SOOOO GOOD. Everyone there was very friendly and nice to us. My wife got the artichoke fettuccine and I got chicken Parm. Both were incredible. 10/10 really cute small place. Old school talian restaurant vibes. Great aesthetic

Super cute, small seasonal restaurant out of Provincetown, MA. The handwritten menus are so charming. Their cocktails are fantastic and come out quickly. We ordered the Caesar, tuna crudo, shrimp scampi, salmon, and lobster pasta. I would get everything again next time. The crudo is a must-get! The service is 10/10. *Please note it’s cash-only.

Sam and George took excellent care of us during dinner celebrating my daughter's 16th birthday.
Bread, wonderful
Salads fresh, cold, & flavorful.
Entrees--one with shrimp, one with lobster... The pasta was cooked perfectly. The shrimp dish was a little heavy on pepper.

Sam made an original mocktail for the birthday girl, and it was a hit. Wish we lived closer, or we'd be back. That said, we've been telling every local we meet they should go!

Il Piccolino is a MUST EAT when visiting Los Angeles or when you have a low key business meeting. I personally prefer eating lunch here. The location is fantastically convenient, and OMG everything I have ordered over the years has been cooked to perfection. I cannot even think of a personal favorite plate because everything I have tried is amazing ..... Table service is exceptional.

Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The food is incredible, but the service was above and beyond. Every member of the staff goes above and beyond for you from the minute you walk in and wait for your reservations, to the moment you leave.

The atmosphere and service are so spot on at this West Hollywood joint, you can forgive food not being the star (although the meatballs are beyond belief and pasta was cooked to perfection). Great crowd, fabulous service and curt efficiency by the host make it my kind of place.
